The Pirates have signed Victor Zambrano and assigned him to AAA Indy. He gave up 1 hit and 2 runs with 5 k's in 4 innings in his first appearance for the Indians.
Josh Phelps has been taking grounders at 3B.
Bonds likely won't play in the twin bill against San Fran in Pittsburgh.
