That is easy Paul, match him pitch for pitch. I am sure allowing 6 runs, 4 earned, over 7 innings is not the answer. This is Jeff Weaver, not exactly a Cy Young candidate.
The Pirates have been making the horrible pitchers in the league look like Cy himself. This is a disturbing trend that needs to be addressed the same way the poor base running needs addressed.
