Ohka and Matos

The biggest news today are the signings of Tomo Ohka for $1.5m to Toronto. Ohka has the possibility of earning $3m with incentives.

The Pirates signed Luis Matos to a minor league deal.

Both stories are so ground breaking the Post-Gazette and Tribune tie both signings up in one article.

Matos is insurance if:

• Duffy fails
• MCLouth can't handle taking Duffy's position
  
• Bautista beats Castillo out making him unavailable for CF
• Gerut is not healthy
• Rajah Davis can't make the jump

The only way Matos should make the 25 man is if ALL the above happen.
