The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting the Braves and LaRoche are $900k apart in arbitration numbers. LaRoche is asking for $3.7M as opposed to the Braves offering $2.8M.

BTW Take:
They will either meet in the middle or he will be traded before the arbitration hearing.


The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review is reporting on the signing of Nick Green, Lincoln and McCutchen are non-roster invites to spring training, Bullington throws off a mound, Hernandez a FA if not on 25 man roster, and the Brian Lawrence situation.

Good news across the board here.

• Green is ho hum.
• Lincoln and McCutchen in ST is good to see. Hopefully I will get to see them play.
  
• Bullington throws off the mound is excellent news.
  
• Hernandez possibly only on the roster through March 31, excellent!
• Colorado attempting to screw up a shore fired signing. Did we trade DL?
