According to the AP article on ESPN.com Cal Ripken Jr would be interested in purchasing the O's if Peter Angelos decided to sell the team. Currently Ripken owns some minor league franchises.
This gave me an interesting question to pose. What former or current Pirate would be a good fit to own the Pirates?
Maybe I'll have to make a poll based on the best responses.
