Don't get excited, the Post Gazette is reporting the Pirates are bringing back utilityman Hernandez.
Like I said, nothing to get excited about.
I have one question. Why would DL bring back a player who is a reminder of one of the worst moves he has made as a GM, trading Ramirez in a salary dump? Why?

It appears that he does this simply to make the manager happy.
Lanny did go on and on this year about what a good guy hernandez is.
