The Beaver County Times is reporting Paul Maholm threw in front of Jim Tracy and will be 100% by spring training. Maholm missed a few starts at the end of 2006.
The Boston Globe is reporting Ohka is close to making a decision between Pittsburgh, Washington and Toronto. If he selects Pittsburgh, that will likely take the Pirates out of the Brian Lawrence discussion.
