Craig Wilson signs 1 year deal with Braves

Multiple sources are reporting Craig "Thor" Wilson has signed a 1 year $2 Million deal with the Braves.

BTW Take:
I have always liked Craig as a player, he never had a fair shake with the Pirates. At $2M this is a good deal for the Braves. Craig has always killed lefties, and he will do some damage when the Bucs play the Braves.

His defensive shortcomings are greatly exaggerated. He plays a good, not spectacular 1B and has the added benefit of being able to catch and play outfield. Atlanta fans can expect to see Craig in more than just a 1B platoon role.

This will complete the LaRoche transaction and partially fill the offensive void left behind.
