According to The Rocky Mountain News the Rockies have made a Major League offer to Brian Lawrence. The article goes on to state the Rockies could trade Josh Fogg and Kim due to the recent trade for Rodrigo Lopez.

Colorado is Lawrence's choice of teams. If Colorado made a MLB offer, Lawrence will likely sign with them in the next week. The only chance the Pirates have is overpaying for his services or Colorado only offering a Minor League deal.
